Hermes parcel size limits

To help us deliver your parcel quickly and securely, we have some simple size limits:

  • Add together the 2 shortest sides and multiply it by 2. Add the length. If the total is less than 245cm, you’re good to go!
  • If you’re using a ParcelShop or our Courier service, the maximum length is 120cm
  • If you’re using a Locker, the limit is 66cm x 41cm x 38cm

Postable parcels need to be letterbox-friendly. That means they can be:

  • Up to 23cm wide
  • Up to 35cm long
  • Between 1 and 2.5cm deep

Weighing your parcel

There are several ways you can check the weight of your parcel:

  • Use digital scales – regular kitchen (usually up to 1 or 2kg) and bathroom scales (heavier items) are ideal. Postal scales are even more accurate
  • Check online – retailers often show size and weight information online. If you don’t have scales, you can use this to accurately estimate the weight. Just don't forget to add the weight of the packaging
  • Check the delivery labels – if your item was delivered, the original delivery label should have the weight information printed on it

What happens if I don't weigh my parcel correctly

The price you pay to send a parcel depends on the parcel’s weight, so it’s important to get it right.

We ask all our customers to measure and weigh their parcels before using our drop off or courier collection services. Overweight or oversized items can lead to an additional charge, so it’s best to double check before you send.
